To find cheap hotels in Venice Italy may be really something.
Unfortunately the capital of the region Veneto is notorious for being quite overpriced, but actually budget hotels exist even in Venice.
However not always they are comfortable and boast an acceptable quality level: do not forget that the hotels in the historic Venice happen to be usually very old buildings and many of them, especially the budget ones, may not have been recently refurbished.

The small hotel – a beautiful historic building - is located in a back alley very near to St Mark square, and it is furnished in Venetian style. The service is great, the quality breakfast is abundant and the staff very kind and friendly.
It is a real bargain considering that the hotel is comfortable and with a cosy atmosphere, and located no less than a stone’s throw from the most famous square in the world.
Excellent quality price relationship. Strongly recommended by guests!

Located in a both very charming and tranquil part of Venice, behind the church of Santa Maria della Salute and near the Guggenheim Museum.
Considering the convenient price, the hotel is surprisingly nice and the buffet breakfast abundant and with a lot of selection.
The rooms are reasonably spacious, very clean a and still.
